Starting with interest in the movement of sculpted objects, Haena Cho continues to install images based on sculptures. She has been continuing to research to twist the sense of customary perception and attitude by questioning the fact that the screen containing video media remains only as a floating transmission medium and capturing media characteristics in various ways based on the question of the screen.
She completed her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees in Sculpture at University Of Seoul, Department Of Environmental Sculpture, and held Solo Exhibitions as follows:

조해나는 사물의 움직임에 대한 관심을 시작으로, 조각을 기반으로 한 영상 설치 작업을 이어가고 있다. 작가는 영상을 담아내는 스크린의 부동성에 의문을 가지고, 단순히 전달 매체로만 인식되는 스크린에 대한 물음을 토대로 매체 특성을 다각적으로 조망하면서 관습적 인식과 태도를 뒤틀어보는 실험적 연구를 지속해오고 있다. 서울시립대학교 환경조각학과 학사 및 석사를 졸업했으며 주요 개인전으로는 <Turbulence>금호미술관, 서울(2022), <Vertigo> d/p,서울(2021), <유사위성> OCI미술관,서울(2020), <타원궤도> 갤러리정미소, 서울(2016), 단체전으로는<APAP6> 안양공공예술프로젝트(2019), <Seoul Media L__og> NOMAD AIR,오슬로/노르웨이(2017), <Sea Gate>Pier2 Art Center,가오슝/대만(2015) 등이 있다.
